Board Certified Behavior AnalystThis posting is for a general applicant pool. Mission:The BCBA demonstrates knowledge and skill in providing behavior analytic services and behavior management plans for students receiving Special Education services (K-18+).Location:This is a full-time onsite position located in San Antonio. Preference will be given to candidates who live in the region, or who are willing to relocate.Travel Expectations:25% throughout the regionWhat You'll Do – Accountabilities:Essential Duties:Demonstrate knowledge of and aid in the development, completion, and monitoring of behavior supports for Special Education Services as per State and Federal Guidelines.Supports Special Education teachers, School Psychologists, Educational Diagnosticians, and other regional special education staff in developing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) that yield strong Behavior Intervention Plans that meet district guidelinesSupports Special Education teachers, School Psychologists, Educational Diagnosticians, and other regional/campus special education staff with implementing the behavior continuum of services.In-field coaching of regional and campus staff using Behavior Skills Training (BST) to build capacity in application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) skills.They establish governance frameworks that ensure consistency and accountability organization-wide, while applying systems thinking to break down silos and drive data-informed continuous improvement.Grow Self and Others: This team member uses data to assess development needs and designs learning opportunities that align with team goals and individual career growth. They model a growth mindset by being open about their own development and ensure that both personal and team-led learning initiatives are impactful and well-aligned with organizational priorities.Build a Culture of Trust : This team member proactively builds strong personal and professional relationships with individual stakeholders and regularly seeks feedback to improve their work experience. They create a supportive environment where others feel safe to take risks and learn from mistakes without fear of retribution.Additional Skills:Proficiency with Office 365 suiteRequired Experience:Bachelor's and Master's degrees required in Applied Behavior Analysis or related fields preferred (i.e. Special Education or Psychology) with a completed Verified Course Sequence (VCS)Active BCBA® certification in good standing with the Behavior Analytic Certification Board (BACB®), Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Texas or other applicable state licensurePreferred Education and Experience:· Minimum 2-3 years experience supporting students with disabilities and at least 1 year experience as a Board Certified Behavior AnalystPhysical Requirements:· Sitting for extended periods of time.· Lifting items weighing 40lbs or less· Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, running, and climbing stairs.Salaries for people entering this role typically fall between $74,700 and $87,100, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications and in alignment with internal equity.
