AP Executive Staffing is proud to partner with a well-known and respected healthcare organization in the Buffalo area that is hiring its first-ever Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). This organization is taking a holistic approach to patient care, recognizing the critical importance of emotional and psychosocial support in the healing journey. You’ll be a key part of a compassionate care team dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the illness.
Provide psychosocial assessments, counseling, and support to patients and their families navigating medical treatment
Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and care coordinators to integrate emotional and social care into treatment planning
Help patients overcome barriers to care, including transportation, housing, insurance, and caregiver needs
Offer crisis intervention, grief counseling, and guidance through difficult care transitions
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York
3+ years of experience in medical, oncology, or grief/bereavement counseling preferred
Passion for holistic, patient-centered care and a desire to lead new initiatives
