Registered Nurse - Telemetry / ICU / PCU

ICU Float Pool Nurse This position requires floating to multiple units as needed, including Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Progressive Care Unit, Overflow units, Overflow PACU, and Stepdown.
Orientation and Assessment An EKG exam will be conducted on the first day of orientation and must be successfully completed to continue with the assignment.
Requirements At least 2 years of ICU experience
Active California RN license
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
First-time travelers are welcome if they have experience in a facility with 400 or more beds
PA line experience is mandatory; candidates lacking this will not be considered. This will be assessed during the phone interview and through an additional checklist.
Experience working in a large hospital environment is required
Shift Details Shift hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Available shift lengths: 36 or 48 hours
Weekend work is required
Floating between units is a requirement of this role
Applicants must hold an active license at the time of application; pending licenses are not accepted
No scheduling requests will be accommodated
Maximum of 7 consecutive workdays allowed
No time-off requests permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
