Line Cook – Boucherie Upper West Side
Boucherie, the French bistro and steakhouse from The Group Hospitality, is opening on the Upper West Side. We're building our opening culinary team and looking for Line Cooks who thrive in a fast-paced, high-standards kitchen.
The Line Cook sets up and stocks their station for service and cooks menu items together with the rest of the kitchen team. You report to the Chef de Cuisine. Cook menu items with the rest of the kitchen team, to The Group's recipes and standards
- Make sure all product is prepped correctly before cooking
- Clean and stock your station before each shift and complete prep, opening, and closing checklists
- Clean equipment thoroughly and on time
- Store product at proper temperatures and follow rotation procedures per DOH regulations
- Maintain Department of Health sanitation standards and report any safety concerns to the Chef on Duty right away
- 1+ year of line cook experience in a similar-caliber restaurant
- NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene Food Protection Certificate
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Clear communication in English and basic math skills
