Accounting and Finance - Head of FP&A

Director, FP&A Advisory Company: Financial & Business Advisory Firm
Compensation: $170K-$210K Base + Bonus
This is a client-facing role partnering directly with CFOs, CEOs, founders, and investors to drive forecasting, financial planning, board reporting, cash management, and strategic decision-making across multiple client engagements.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for biotech and life sciences clients
Build and maintain financial models, cash runway analyses, and scenario planning tools
Provide board reporting, KPI analysis, and executive decision support
Partner directly with CFOs and leadership teams on strategic finance initiatives
8+ years of FP&A, strategic finance, or advisory experience

• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and business partnering skills
• Big 4 accounting or consulting background

CPA, CFA, or MBA
Experience supporting venture-backed or high-growth companies
Variety of projects and clients rather than a single company
Opportunity to help build a growing FP&A advisory practice
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
