Maintenance Associate (Janitorial Associate) - Part Time / Full Time

Position Summary

As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. However, maintaining a positive attitude will ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish.

What You’ll Do

Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to management.

Clean all areas of the facility (e.g., floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following company procedures, guidelines, and methods, and utilizing approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.

Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.

Maintain appropriate levels of company‑approved chemicals and supplies needed to ensure a safe and clean facility, including rotating and storing chemical supplies properly and placing orders to replenish supplies.

Compensation
The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
