We build autonomous spacecraft, advanced payloads, mission software, and space-based interceptors - enabling the U.True Anomaly is seeking a talented and driven Electrical Engineer II to support the rapid design, development, and testing of high-reliability electrical systems for our spacecraft programs. In this role, you will execute across the full hardware development lifecycle - from requirements capture and schematic design through bring-up, integration, and production - while collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams. Execute requirements capture, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, prototyping, bring-up, debugging, documentation, manufacturing, and test for electrical designs

Support the rapid design, development, and testing of high-reliability electrical systems for spacecraft engineering and development efforts

Conduct derating analysis and worst-case circuit analysis

Support system-level integration of electrical subsystems, including hardware and software interfaces

Perform first article testing, unit-level testing, and production testing

Contribute to the development and execution of validation and qualification testing campaigns to ensure reliable hardware

Develop and maintain documentation for electrical systems and components, including design specifications, test plans, and operating procedures

Collaborate with experts from other teams and departments to improve system efficiency, manufacturability, and reliability, and to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and quality assurance processes

Contribute to continuous improvement of electrical engineering processes and practices

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• 2-4 years of professional experience in electrical engineering
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Experience with spacecraft electrical system design and testing

Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to spacecraft electrical systems

Experience with simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB, and Simulink

Knowledge of IPC standards and specifications including IPC-610, IPC J-STD-001, and other relevant PCB design and assembly standards

Work Location -this role will be onsite at either our Centennial, CO or Long Beach, CA locations, with travel to other sites as needed.
