Part Time Caseworker

Exciting opportunity for an experienced School Social Worker to step into a part-time contract role covering a maternity leave from August to December 2026. Make a meaningful impact working closely with elementary students in an emotional disability (ED) program near Plaistow, NH. This position focuses on supporting a small group of three students, allowing for individualized attention and meaningful connections.
In this rewarding role, you'll engage directly with students, collaborating closely with educators to promote students' emotional, social, and academic growth. Hours are 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, two to three days per week, making this role a perfect fit for someone seeking a flexible schedule within the school year.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
Valid certification as a School Social Worker.
Previous experience in a school setting, preferably at the elementary level.
Strong skills in supporting students with emotional disabilities (ED).
Effective collaboration and communication skills.
Ability to foster trust and rapport with students, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct social-emotional support and counseling to students in the ED program.
Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies to meet student needs.
Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and multidisciplinary teams.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to progress monitoring.
Offer consultation and support for families, staff, and other stakeholders.
