Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac MedSurg Telemetry

The Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing expert nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit, continuously monitoring cardiac activity, and responding promptly to emergent situations. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and holistic patient care.

Assess patients' physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs to develop individualized care plans.

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to interpret telemetry data and adjust patient care accordingly.
• Deliver direct patient care with compassion, ensuring safety and comfort within established guidelines.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, safety measures, and disease management to foster understanding and compliance.
• Document all assessments, care provided, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).

• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience, specifically in MedSurg or Telemetry units.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring, nursing practices, and patient safety protocols.
