Head of Supply Chain and Procurement

Job Description We are seeking a thorough Purchasing Manager who can develop purchasing strategies for one of our premier clients. In this role, you will manage daily purchasing transactions, track and report on key functional metrics, perform negotiation strategies, and supervise purchasing department. This Purchasing Manager will also assist with process improvements, working with large amounts of purchasing and vendor data, building vendor relationships, and forecasting. Implement purchasing strategies
- Oversee daily purchasing activities
- Determine cost effective materials
- Monitor vendor performances
- Improve purchasing systems and processes
- Coordinate and disburse transportation quotes
The ideal Purchasing Manager will have a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Other requirements for the Purchasing Manager role include and are not limited to:
- 5+ years in inventory management, procurement, or similar role
- Microsoft Office skills, Advanced Excel (pivot tables)
- Proficient in inventory management software/tools
- ERP or purchasing system experience
