Registered Nurse Physician Care

Role Overview: The position involves delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care within the Wound Care department. Responsibilities include managing the patient's care journey, monitoring and communicating critical updates to the multidisciplinary team, coordinating services across clinical disciplines, executing physician and nursing orders accurately, and facilitating comprehensive discharge planning for safe patient transitions.

Qualifications & Skills Active BLS Provider certification (obtained within 30 days of hire), from AHA or Red Cross.

Registered Nurse credential from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a current multi-state/Compact license.

Wound Care certification from NAWCCB is preferred.

Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent licensure.

Key Duties Provide patient-centered care adhering to best practices and protocols.

Manage and communicate patient status updates to ensure safety and continuity.

Coordinate patient services across clinical teams for optimal outcomes.

Accurately execute medical orders to support treatment progress.

Proactively plan discharge to ensure safe and smooth patient transitions.
