Caregiver Requirements
Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
Valid Driver’s License
Clear Background Check & Drug Screen
One Year of Caregiving Experience
CPR/First Aid Certification
Negative TB Screening within the past 12 months
Caregiver Responsibilities
Companionship (reading, talking, games, crafts)
Light Housekeeping
Grooming Assistance (dressing, brushing teeth, shaving)
Medication Reminders (no administration)
Transportation (appointments, shopping, outings)
Documentation of Activities (ability to document shift details electronically)
Hygiene Support (showers, bed baths, toileting)
Mobility Assistance (safe transfers, lifting 5–35 pounds, walking)
Meal Prep & Feeding

Physical Requirements
~ Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and assist with transfers safely.

At-Will Employment : Employment with Sunland Home Care is at-will and may be terminated by either party at any time, with or without cause or notice, subject to applicable law.
Non-Medical Care : This position provides non-medical support only. Caregivers do not administer medications or perform skilled nursing tasks.
Health & Safety : Caregivers must follow infection control protocols and any applicable health safety guidelines.

All caregivers must hold or obtain an Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card and pass a background check prior to hire. CPR/First Aid certification is required.
