Job Summary The Egg Packer is responsible for accurately and efficiently packing eggs, ensuring product quality, and labeling boxes correctly. This role operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and adherence to food safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, alert, and capable of maintaining productivity and quality in their work area.

Inspect each egg for quality and remove any that are broken or flawed.

Maintain a clean work area and ensure nothing in the surrounding area contaminates the eggs during packing. Follow all hygiene and safety protocols to prevent contamination of the product.

Monitor the packing line to ensure it is operating efficiently. If any issues arise, immediately report to the supervisor or manager to address the problem.

Ensure the USDA seal is correct and corresponds with the date of the production run.

Clean up any eggs that fall on the floor immediately, and ensure the line is kept free from obstructions or hazards that could disrupt operations.

Take responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of your packing station. Strong focus on cleanliness and product quality.

Must follow safety protocols and be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.

Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods during shifts.
