Inventory Prep

Position Overview:
~ Chartwells is seeking a dependable and skilled Breakfast Prep Cook to join our dining services team at the University of Dallas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items including eggs, meats, pancakes, waffles, and other hot/cold dishes.
Assist with food preparation such as chopping, measuring, portioning, and assembling ingredients.
Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines.
Set up and stock the breakfast line before service, ensuring all items are fresh and properly displayed.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
Assist with restocking supplies and rotating inventory.
Work collaboratively with team members to provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a prep cook, breakfast cook, or in a similar food service role preferred.
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and safe food handling practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Dependable, punctual, and a team player.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform repetitive motions such as bending, lifting, and reaching.
