Surgical Tech - Labor & Delivery
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working 3 × 11.5-hour shifts to complete 35 hours per week with alternating weekends. A 60-minute unpaid lunch break is included.
Job Description
We are seeking experienced Surgical Techs for a Labor & Delivery position. The role involves assisting with various stages of labor and complications, including high-risk antepartum cases and triage. You will be working in a dynamic environment with 1:1 to 1:3 patient ratios depending on the case complexity.
Responsibilities
Provide support in Labor & Delivery, High Risk Antepartum, Induction of Labor, Triage, and PACU.
Maintain patient safety and high standards of care during surgical procedures.
Assist the healthcare team in managing and monitoring patients.
Be available to float to the Mother-Baby unit as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
Previous travel experience is preferred.
Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM certification.
