Outpatient Infusion Nurse
COVID vaccinations encouraged, but not required. Effective immediately, you must include your New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate up front with all Glens Falls Hospital nursing submissions. This license is required by the state of NY in order to staff for temporary needs. As of 1/1/24 – all new and returning agency staff must have de-escalation training as part of their onboarding and clearance. Facility as of 1/1/2024 - ALL new AND returning agency staff must have completed training from one of following groups for onboarding and clearance. Welle - (Verbal De-escalation bundle training required) OR CPI - OR PMCS -
EPIC experience required - please note experience on submission in order to prevent delays! Glens Falls Hospital's Outpatient Infusion Center is dedicated to providing patient care excellence. Infusion services are provided by a staff of registered nurses who specialize in intravenous therapy.
Blood and blood product transfusions
IV Immune Globulin therapy (IVIG)
Hydration therapy
Care and maintenance of intrathecal or implanted infusion pumps
Therapeutic Phlebotomies
OT and Holiday Multipliers: x1.25 Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color - No designs or cartoons. Cancellation policy: Facility can cancel up to 5 shifts per 13 week contract, must give 2 hr notice
2+ years current experience in outpatient oncology and infusion - [REQUIRED]

• Chemo Cert (ONS) and Oncology Certified RN (OCN) - [REQUIRED]
• EPIC Experience - [Required]
• License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current Nursys, BLS, ONC Cert, CHEMO CERT, ACLS, PERM ADDRESS and de-escalation training proofs - Facility will not pend license/certs)

Permanent address must be included in profile. Travelers from the following counties in New York or within 50 miles from Glens Falls will be considered for travel assignments at Glens Falls at a BR discount (Perm address must be included in profile):
