CNC MACHINISTS - FULL TIME

Machinist
The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machine tools to fabricate parts and components for industrial or commercial use. Set Up and Operate Machines: Operate and set up a variety of machine tools (e.g., lathes, mills, grinders, drills) to produce high-precision metal or plastic parts.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the dimensions and tolerances of the parts to be produced.
Select and Install Tools: Choose the correct cutting tools, speeds, and feeds based on the materials being worked with and the specifications provided.

Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other machinists to meet production goals and deadlines.
Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of machine tools and their operation, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drills.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine tools, parts, or production processes.
A high level of precision and accuracy when machining parts to ensure quality standards are met.
Mechanical Aptitude: Strong understanding of machining processes and maintenance.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in machining, manufacturing, or related fields is a plus.
Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy parts and materials (up to 50 lbs).
Ability to stand for long periods and work in a noisy, sometimes dusty manufacturing environment.
Strong manual dexterity for handling tools, parts, and measuring instruments.
Experience with CNC Machines: Familiarity with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines or basic knowledge of programming for automated machinery.
CAD/CAM Software: Basic knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) or CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software for part design and machine programming.
Certification from a recognized organization, such as the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) or a similar body, is a plus.
