Position Details
Primary Care Physician – UHS Primary Care in Walton, NY. The practice is located on the campus of a critical‑access hospital (25‑bed medical and short‑term rehab unit with 24/7 ED). The clinic serves inpatient and outpatient patients in a friendly town setting.
Clinical Setting
Practice consists of family medicine physicians, advanced practice providers, and psychiatric nurse practitioners. Multiple outpatient specialties are available on‑site, including lab, cardiopulmonary, imaging, PT, OT, speech, cardiac and pulmonary rehab, and an on‑site outpatient pharmacy.
Calling
One week on approximately every two months – for the primary care practice only.
Salary & Compensation
Salary Range: $275,240 – $344,100 annually.
Benefits include full medical, dental, and vision coverage (starting the first of the month after hire for 24+ hrs/week), CME stipend, paid vacation, and occurrence‑based malpractice coverage.
Qualifications
Board eligible or certified.
Completed an ACGME accredited residency program.
Accepting J1 and H1B candidates.
Teaching Opportunities
Opportunities are available with UHS Family Practice and Internal Medicine residents, Endocrinology, Geriatrics and Sports Medicine fellows, transitional year students, and 3rd & 4th year medical students on rotation from Upstate Medical University.
