Paramedic - PRN/Part-time

As a PRN EMT, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Maryville, TN. We are seeking candidates with the flexibility to work first, second and third shifts, including weekends, based on business needs.

Assesses nature and extent of illness or injury, establishes priorities, and administers initial treatment at the scene to stabilize patient until higher level of health care is provided
Communicates with medical personnel and stays updated on treatment techniques and protocols
Conducts safety inspections, prepares reports, and maintains records
Cleans emergency vehicle, requisitions supplies, and restocks materials and equipment
Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
Current, unencumbered EMT Certification as defined within the state in which work will be performed
Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
At least three years of experience as an EMT with an ambulance/EMS service
