PHARMACIST - PART TIME RETAIL PHARMACY

A part-time Retail Pharmacist position is available in a grocery store pharmacy located in Omaha, Nebraska. This ongoing contract assignment offers a flexible, two-week rotating schedule designed to accommodate both candidate availability and pharmacy needs.

Schedule:

Week 1: Sunday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM; Tuesday 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM; Friday 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM (24 hours total)
Week 2: Tuesday 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM (17 hours total) Note: The Pharmacy Manager is open to adjusting the schedule as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness
Provide patient counseling to ensure safe and effective medication use
Oversee pharmacy workflow and support pharmacy technicians
Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Active Nebraska Pharmacist license in good standing
Recent experience in retail pharmacy preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Flexibility to accommodate scheduling needs
Experience with McKesson Enterprise system is preferred but not required
