Minimum 5 years of Technical Sales Experience
Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to fill an opening with a Manufacturing company within the Metro Detroit Area. Must have experience with industrial lubricants and coatings
Requirements of the Material Planner

• Bachelor s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering preferred, or equivalent experience within engineering, manufacturing, industrial or chemical environments.
• 5 years of technical sales experience within industrial fluid technology or related industries preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with various metal working processes preferred.
• Strong technical foundation in manufacturing processes, equipment and production method

• Responsibilities of the Material Planner

Develop and manage a strategic territory and customer coverage plan to achieve established budget and growth objectives.
Conduct regular customer and prospect visits to promote, support, and sell company products, requiring extensive travel.
Deliver persuasive technical sales presentations that clearly communicate the value of the products and services you are selling.
Proactively manage customer follow-up activities, including call reports, sample requests, project support, and ongoing customer inquiries.
Collaborate closely with the technical team to generate performance data, resolve product issues, and provide technical support.
Initiate and manage product testing and optimization goals to support customer applications.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of customer activities and interactions in the CRM system.
Participate in sales planning activities, including annual budgeting, forecasting, monthly sales meetings and required training sessions.
Represent the Company at industry associations, trade events, and customer functions as requested.
