Interventional Cardiologist

This full-time opportunity is ideal for an Interventional Cardiologist seeking to build a long-term practice that combines coronary intervention, structural heart procedures, and comprehensive cardiovascular care within a collaborative and highly respected health system.
The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated experience in coronary interventions along with training and/or experience in structural heart procedures and will play an active role in the continued growth and development of VHC Health's cardiovascular services.

Perform structural heart procedures consistent with the physician's training, experience, and hospital privileges

• Participate in STEMI and interventional cardiology call coverage
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team to provide coordinated, high-quality care
• Participate in clinical quality initiatives and the continued development of interventional and structural heart services
• Document all clinical care in the electronic medical record and adhere to best practice guidelines

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

• Completion of an accredited Interventional Cardiology fellowship
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Training and/or clinical experience in structural heart interventions
• Eligible for or licensed by the Virginia Department of Health Professions
• Commitment to collaborative, high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care
