Leading the end-to-end engineering vision for real-world data infrastructure, the full-time Senior Director of RWD Engineering will design and implement scalable, cloud-native data products and pipelines, collaborating with multi-functional teams to enhance evidence generation for healthcare analytics.
Key responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of cloud-native data products and high-throughput data pipelines for real-world data
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of RWD data products, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance across cloud environments
Establish standard engineering practices across the data asset lifecycle, including automated data ingestion, quality checks, and documentation
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology, Bioinformatics, or a related technical field
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on data engineering experience with a focus on healthcare or life sciences RWD
Minimum of 5 years of applied expertise in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) related to real-world healthcare data
Minimum of 3 years of direct people management experience, including leading and developing team members
Experience with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark) for large-scale RWD processing
