We are enthusiastically searching for all levels of Traffic Engineers and Designers to join our growing team throughout the southern US. Selected candidates can expect to work on alternative delivery projects, including mega‑projects.

Junior level, mid-level and senior level Traffic Engineers (including signing & pavement markings and traffic signals)

Traffic CAD Designers (including signing & marking design and traffic signal design)

Experience in large Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects, specifically highway transportation projects

Experience with traffic signal design

Experience in signing / pavement marking design. Experience in Interstate design, and complex interchanges preferred.

CAD Designers: BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience

Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience

Mid-Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience

Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience

Knowledge and prior use of the AASHTO Green Book and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.

These positions are expected to be hybrid (remote/in-office) and based out of a local AECOM office.
