Dishwasher/Polisher Position Summary: The Dish/Polisher person delivers consistent high quality service and support to the service staff by stocking, polishing, and cleaning necessary service-ware before, during, and after service. This role supports the general cleanliness and maintenance of the front of house during service as well as spot checking of restrooms.

Position Requirements:

• Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays from 5:30pm - 11:00pm
• 100% -- Walks and stands during entire shift.
• 100% -- Frequently reaches, bends, lifts, carries trays, stoops and wipes.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Collect dirty silverware from restaurant; bring to kitchen for sorting and cleaning. Bring silverware from the kitchen; polish silverware. Replenish silverware to all service stations and all dining rooms, bars, and private dining rooms and stock according to par levels or to fill stations.

Bring share plates and bread and butter plates up from the kitchen. Dry all plate ware and replenish to the first dining rooms, main bar and private dining room.

Collect dirty glassware from entire restaurant/all service stations in dining rooms; bring to kitchen for cleaning. Bring glassware from the kitchen; polish glassware. Replenish glassware to all dining rooms, bars and private dining rooms.

Maintain cleanliness of coffee station and surrounding areas.

Perform other duties as directed by management.

Knowledge and Skills:

Able to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and sanitary skills.

Able to speak and understand enough English to take direction and respond to requests from staff and management.
