As a Plumber, you will perform and coordinate a full range of services on plumbing fixtures and systems in accordance with all applicable industry standards, laws and regulations. Acting in a lead capacity, you will manage plumbing projects and apply your expertise to provide services to all County buildings. We are looking for a well-rounded individual with plumbing and mechanical expertise.

Perform a full range of maintenance services related to plumbing. Plan, coordinate, and schedule repair projects and preventative maintenance of assigned area. Assist in planning and accessing future repair and preventative maintenance projects.
Ensure the proper installation and repair of plumbing equipment and associated piping systems to meet all applicable codes.
Coordinate work with other employees and provide training related to a full range of plumbing services.
Install and repair replacement pipe, fittings, valves, and fixtures such as sinks and toilets using hand and power tools.
Collect and record data using a Computerized Maintenance Management System, including logging daily work and preventative maintenance tasks.
Gather proper materials and tools in preparation for jobs. Plumbing (Intermediate)

High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
Journeyman Plumber license (Maryland) or successful completion of ICC plumbing exam

Frequent exposure to potentially adverse environmental conditions, including, but not limited to, chemicals, noise, and airborne particles.
Frequent physical activity: lifting and carrying over 75lbs, climbing ladders and steps, standing/walking, pushing/pulling, bending, reaching, squatting, stooping, and related activities.
