CNC Programmers- 2nd Shift

CNC 5-Axis MachinistA leading precision manufacturing company in the Cedar Park area is seeking an experienced CNC 5-Axis Machinist to join its second shift team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining 5-axis CNC machining centers while producing tight-tolerance components. The ideal candidate has experience with CNC mills and lathes, can work independently, and is committed to producing high-quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Location: Cedar Park, TX Pay: $DOE Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2ND SHIFTResponsibilitiesSet up and operate 5-axis CNC machining centers to produce precision components.Perform first article inspections and make machine offsets or minor program adjustments as needed.Use precision measuring instruments to inspect parts and verify tight tolerances.Load and unload materials using overhead lifting equipment.Deburr finished parts and ensure all components meet quality standards before moving to the next operation.Monitor machine performance, identify machining issues, and make necessary adjustments.Select and utilize the proper cutting tools, inserts, and tool holders.Maintain production flow by following job priorities and production schedules.Complete production documentation and follow all safety procedures.3–5 years of CNC machining experience, including CNC mills, CNC lathes, or 5-axis machining.Strong understanding of G & M codes and CNC machining principles.Experience using precision measuring equipment, including:Excellent communication and ability to identify and explain quality concerns.Physical RequirementsStand, sit, bend, reach, and move throughout the shift.Work safely in a manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE.
