Position: Quality Control Supervisor. Reporting to the QC Manager. Travel Requirement: FLSA Status: Non‑Exempt Hourly. Employment Category: Full Time Regular. Coaches and mentors Leads and Quality Control Technicians to ensure their development and understanding of current and new processes

Responsible for onboarding and refresher training of QC Technicians

Train and review of methodologies, SOP’s, performance and techniques of QC personnel by working with QC Managers including calibration of equipment to assure accuracy and repeatability of test results

Monitor compliance to specifications, methods and procedures, GMP, HACCP and food safety programs through records review

Conduct routine plant inspections to verify compliance to quality and food safety programs and regulatory requirements

Provide technical support in the implementation of HACCP, food safety and regulatory including training and correction of deficiencies

Handle and support in the investigation of customer complaints and holds for non‑conformance

Monitor quality and status of products in inventory

Perform routine sanitation inspection and verify efficacy with associated equipment through visual inspection and microbiological testing

Conduct and review HACCP Plan, Food Quality Plant, procedures and work instructions

Ability to manage multiple priorities

Must have demonstrated ability to work independently without daily supervision or monitoring

Supervisory experience in quality assurance in food or beverage manufacturing

Experience in food plant sanitation

Knowledgeable in HACCP, GMPs, food safety, plant audits, sanitation and other state and federal regulatory

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word and Access)

Bachelor’s degree in food science or minimum of 2 years of related experience and or/training in lieu of education

3-5 years experience in food manufacturing or food production

Physical Demands & Environmental Hazards

The work environment for this position will be typical of the manufacturing facility. There are portions of the job that will require working in cold ( 90°F), loud environments, in proximity of chemicals as well as the laboratory environment. Group Short & Long-Term Disability
