Temporary Packer Night Shift

Role Overview: Unpack Your Potential Join Amcor as a Packer and play a key role in producing high-quality laminated products that protect what is important. Based on which machine you are assigned to, you will assist with line operations, including changeovers, start-ups, running, and shutdown, while prioritizing safety and compliance with specifications.

Schedule 12-hour shifts

Pay: $17.64-$20.75/hour + $1.50/hour night shift premium

Overtime: 1.5x pay for hours over 40 per week

Packers assist in aspects of operation of lines including changeovers, moving material, quality checks and packing product.

Support operations in becoming World Class in all aspects of the business, beginning with Safety.

Adhere to customer specification, manufacturing specification, and standard operating procedures.

Work with crew to minimize job change-over and down time.

Comply with all 5S and WCM initiatives (Cross Training, moving to the work).

Ability read, understand, and follow customer specifications

Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.

Forklift experience preferred

Must have basic computer skills to complete tasks in operator software

Required to have visual acuity to perform visual inspection including the use of measurement devices and ability to identify and distinguish colors
