Security Company: Hiring Security Officers

Protective Security Officers will provide a variety of security services for the Federal Protective Service contract.

Communicate and remain accessible via two-way radio or company issued cellular phone.
Understand and comply with all requirements defined within company documents to include Post and General Orders, plans, policies, and procedures.
Maintain mandated training requirements in accordance with company guidance.
Participate in Quality and Process improvement programs.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
A minimum of two (2) years of armed security or one (1) year of law enforcement experience in a full-duty status with a full-service police department in a municipality, state, or federal law enforcement department within the U.S, and has resigned or retired in good standing; Armed Forces (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, Cost Guard) component.
Shall fluently speak, read, comprehend English, and be able to compose written reports in English.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos using the English language.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating policies, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to deal with problems, involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
~ Some posts may require an individual to have knowledge of internet programs, Word Processing software and other software as required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
~ Must be a United States citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident who is currently a member of, or who possesses a verifiable honorable discharge from, any component of the United States Armed Forces (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard); A Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration, which bears the individuals name and social security number is required. Must meet medical standards as specified by the contract.
