Phlebotomist, Phlebotomy, Full Time

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Phlebotomist in Mount Kisco, NY ! Type: Three - month contract, with opportunity for extension or full-time offer
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM, Rotating Saturdays 8:00AM - 1:00PM
Notes: Occasional travel to local draw stations required when needed
Responsibilities of the Phlebotomist:

• Draw blood from pediatric through geriatric patient population
• Process all lab specimens including verifying patient identifiers, barcoding, centrifuging, pouring off, accessioning, creating packing lists and packaging specimens to reference lab at correct temperatures
• Follow all Phlebotomy SOP and OSHA Safety/PPE guidelines.

Qualifications for the Phlebotomist:

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• 6 months of Phlebotomy experience
• Knowledge of EPIC
