Quality Systems SpecialistWe're seeking a Quality Systems Specialist to support quality management initiatives within an automotive manufacturing environment. This role maintains compliance with industry quality standards, coordinates audits, manages quality documentation, and drives continuous improvement across multiple facilities.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about quality systems and process improvement, building strong relationships across cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and related QMS requirementsCoordinate internal, third-party, supplier, and customer audits; prepare reports and support corrective/preventive action plansDevelop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and SOPsTrain employees and internal auditors on quality standards and best practicesManage document control and calibration programsSupport MSA, FMEA, APQP, and PPAP activitiesComplete customer quality surveys and self-assessmentsParticipate in cross-functional quality improvement initiatives and supplier quality programs with PurchasingAssist with corporate, customer, and special audits across facilities as neededPrepare reports on audit schedules, findings, and quality system performanceQualificationsBachelor's degree in a science-related field2+ years of experience in quality assurance/quality systems in manufacturingISO 9001 experience required; IATF 16949 strongly preferredKnowledge of calibration, document control, audit management, and continuous improvement methodsFamiliarity with MSA, FMEA, APQP, and PPAP preferredLean Six Sigma certification a plusProficient in Microsoft Office; basic familiarity with AI tools beneficialAble to work safely around paints/chemicals with PPE; able to lift up to 25 lbsStrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsBenefits Competitive compensation with performance-based bonuses, paid holidays and PTO, comprehensive medical benefits, retirement match, tuition assistance, employee recognition programs, and professional development opportunities.If you're ready to bring your quality expertise to an industry-leading team committed to excellence, apply today!
