Responsible for providing quality patient care while producing ultrasound images and patterns used for patient diagnosis and treatment. The responsibilities also include completing scans effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest possible standards of patient care to provide the most remarkable patient experience.
Prepare and clean equipment and rooms; Patient Care & Collaboration: Provide care within the scope of training and licensure.
Department & On-Call Coverage: Participate in on-call, holiday, and flexible shift coverage as needed.
Clinical Performance: Perform ultrasound exams and assist with training staff and students. Operate equipment and follow protocols. Research & Quality Initiatives: Support and participate in departmental research, QA, and improvement projects. Conduct research-related ultrasound exams as required.
Other Certificate/Diploma Diagnostic Imaging required or Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Diagnostic Medical Sonographer required and Associate's Degree Diagnostic Imaging preferred

Certified Sonographer - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) preferred
Sonography [R.S)(ARRT)] - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred
Ultrasound Technologist 0-1 year required

Comprehensive understanding of computer operations relating to Imaging, Electronic Health Records, Reporting Systems, PACS, and all Hospital Information Systems that integrate with the department, relating to patient information and management.
