Registered Nurse (RN) - Transitional Neuro Unit FT - Day/Morning Rotating Shifts (Hours: 7a-7p & 7p-7a)
Weekends and holidays as required

The Transitional Neuro Unit is a 6-bed step down unit that focuses on the patients that were stepped down from the Neuro Critical Care unit at the Christiana Hospital. The Neuro Critical Care Unit focuses on the care of neurological and neurosurgical patients. This includes (but is not limited to), hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke, cerebral aneurysms, brain tumors, brain and spine infections, complicated spine surgeries, hydrocephalus, neuromuscular disorders, seizures/status epilepticus, and isolated neurotrauma. Our highly motivated nursing staff and strong preceptor group promote professionalism, education, and camaraderie

Education & Requirements:
Current DE RN license or a multistate RN license required.
BSN required; commitment to obtaining a BSN within three years of the date of hire
BLS Certification is required.
Two years of RN experience working in a stepdown or progressive care unit preferred.

Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05
This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
