What You'll Do
Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU setting
Monitor critically ill patients using advanced equipment such as Edwards Lifesciences cardiac monitors and GE monitors
Perform lab sticks, EKGs, and line starts
Administer medications and treatments via IV pumps and PCA devices
Float to other units including ED and PACU when needed
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control guidelines
Document patient history, assessments, and care plans accurately
What You Need
Required:

Valid RN license in Louisiana
Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
Epic experience
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH
Ability to care for isolation patients, including Covid-19 cases
Knowledge of ICU equipment and procedures
Preferred:
Experience floating to different units and working in a fast-paced environment
Strong clinical skills in critical care
