You'll serve as an important technical resource for healthcare professionals across multiple clinical areas. You'll train and assess the competency of nurses, physicians, operating room staff, respiratory technicians, and other personnel performing point-of-care testing. From maintaining training records and delivering supplies and reagents to clinical units to performing quality checks, supporting IQCP requirements, and conducting routine reviews of testing operations, you'll help ensure testing practices meet established quality and regulatory standards. You'll also participate in process improvement initiatives, mentor colleagues, and perform operating room laboratory testing when needed.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented laboratory professional who enjoys working independently, solving technical challenges, and partnering with clinical teams to maintain high standards of testing quality. With a part-time schedule and the opportunity to support multiple locations, you'll contribute to an essential laboratory service while expanding your technical and training expertise. MD Anderson offers competitive pay, an annual merit increase program, annual incentive opportunities, an employer-funded pension contribution, medical, dental and vision coverage, generous paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
