PRN RRT - Respiratory Care

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - IRF - Full Time
At Community Rehabilitation Hospital West , we are committed to providing exceptional care while supporting our team. As an RRT in our Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility, you will help make communities healthier through compassionate, evidence‑based respiratory therapy.
Responsibilities Maintain knowledge of oxygen delivery methods and equipment, and assess potential side effects.
Administer respiratory therapy treatments, understanding their purpose and possible side effects.
Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators, perform airway management and tracheal suctioning.
Assess patient pain that may interfere with rehabilitation, and make appropriate physician contact.
Perform arterial punctures to obtain blood gas samples, recognizing complications and contraindications.

Qualifications Current state respiratory therapist licensure.
Graduate of an AMA‑approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
Current CPR certification (BLS or ACLS).
Three or more years of experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services is highly preferred.
