This individual will lead small to large projects on their own or as part of a team, which includes planning, design, and implementation of complex network and security engagements. This is a consultative role providing network engineering services on project work and effectively managing the implementation process from design to customer acceptance. This position requires up to 25% regional travel and is based in either Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, or Louisiana.Primary responsibilities include performing project-based engineering, design, staging, installation, validation, testing, and troubleshooting of data/security networksLead complex, large scale Network and Security projects, including data center fabric design and deploymentCreate low-level detailed designs that align with the business strategy, the customer's budget, and operational support capabilitiesNetwork discoveriesPerform Network and Security AssessmentsPresenting documentation and engagement deliverables to customersCollaborating as part of a multi-functional team with Sales, Pre-Sales, Project Management, and other delivery/engineering resourcesTrouble resolution of complex issues and assisting team members in solving problems with their deploymentsWorking with junior members of the engineering team to successfully implement secure network solutionsExecute network maintenance MOP both onsite and remotely with minimal downtimeRequired Skills and Professional Experience:Experienced expert with complex multi-protocol routing and switching solutionsVarious security parameters and harden access to devicesCore Routing and Switching platforms with a focus on design, configuration, and troubleshooting using Cisco Best PracticesNetwork design and applications, including designing IP addressingOSPF, BGP, EIGRP. Redistribution of protocols and loop preventionTCP/IP protocol stack, TCP/IP headers and packets, the OSI model, and commonly used TCP/UDP ports and associated servicesData Center Fabric experience, including design, deployment, and operations of modern DC fabrics (VXLAN/EVPN)Cisco Nexus Dashboard experience (fabric controller, insights, orchestration)Cloud Networking ExperienceAWS, Azure, GCP in Networking contextsExperienced deploying at least one SDWAN Solution with Viptela, Silverpeak, or Palo Prisma SDWANExperienced in implementing security solutions such as:Configuration, tuning, troubleshootingMeraki MX: Configuration, tuning, troubleshootingFMC ManagementPalo Alto Networks Product PortfolioCisco Security Product PortfolioAdvanced architecture of enterprise networksAdvanced network routing and switching troubleshootingExperience in F5 load balancing a plusSolid verbal and written communication skillsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and/or military experienceMust have 6+ years of related project implementation experienceMust be a US Citizen Your future at PresidioJoiningPresidio means stepping into a culture of trailblazers - thinkers, builders, and collaborators - who push the boundaries of what's possible.
