We are currently seeking a motivated and highly experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our growing team.
As a Certified Public Accountant at Connally, Jordan & Associates, you will be responsible for providing accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting services to a diverse client base. Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, including tax planning and strategy.
Provide guidance and recommendations to clients on accounting and financial matters.
Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and tax laws to ensure compliance and enhance client service.
Active CPA license required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 5+ years of public accounting experience, with a strong understanding of accounting and tax principles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
