Manufacturing Engineer
Duration: 6 Months with a Potential extension based on the project requirements
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7 AM - 4 PM.
OT might be required mainly on Fridays but could be some Saturdays as well as required per the projects
Responsibility is to support Engineering projects developing technical drawings that help translate engineering and architectural designs into detailed plans used in building products and structures. Their day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with engineers and other professionals to clarify design specifications, layout updates using AUTOCAD software, place and follow up purchase orders for new tooling and equipment to produce drawings and checking design drawings to verify they're accurate and meet industry standards.

Client looking for at least 3 years of experience and preferably, but not required in Automotive/Truck industry.
Engineering degree is a must and Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing would be strongly preferred
The manager needs candidates who have worked in a manufacturing environment..
Standard Pro software will be a big plus
Extensive working knowledge of AUTOCAD software, 2D AND 3d, to be able to prepare technical drawings efficiently
Time management skills to work with multiple projects and competing deadlines
Knowledge of engineering practices and industry standards
Coordinate multidisciplinary projects review between departments and other stakeholders
Experience with manufacturing tools and equipment to be able to support prototype pilot build constructions
Availability to work OT and / or Weekends as required per project deliverables
Knowledge of Ms office to be perform analysis and prepare executive presentations
Previous manufacturing Automotive/Truck Industry experience is a plus
Bilingual English / Spanish is a plus
AUTOCAD Experience (2D and 3D layouts)
Manufacturing Experience (Line balance, PFMEA, process mapping, Standard work, etc.)
Tooling and Equipment Installation Experience
