Material Handler in Louisville, KYHiring Immediately! Material Handler in Louisville, KY Starting pay: $22.11 hourly with a 0.50 cent shift differential. Shift: 2nd shift:10 AM- 8:45 PM, Monday through Thursday, with over time required occasionally on Fridays. Occasional overtime on Saturdays as well. Sign on Bonus of $1,000 after 90 days of employment. Full–Time BenefitsThe Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a Material Handler responsible for receiving, shipping, and handling raw materials, packaging, and finished goods as they enter or leave the facility, including transfers within the site.Key ResponsibilitiesMove finished goods from production line to shipping or warehouse storageReceive and put away inventory using SAP processesLoad/unload trucks and support production material flowOperate forklifts, swing reach equipment, and automated packaging equipmentInspect product for defects and ensure quality standardsMaintain accurate records using RF scanners and computer systemsStage materials and keep filling lines stockedMaintain clean work area and perform basic equipment checksRequirementsMust be 18 years of age; High School Diploma or GED requiredPrevious material handling or forklift experience preferredBasic computer skills and ability to learn SAP systemsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 80 lbs. occasionallyAbility to climb ladders and work at heights up to 20–25 feetAbility to wear required PPE and follow safety proceduresStrong teamwork and attention to detailEquipment Used Forklifts, swing reach/hi-rise equipment, robotic palletizers, conveyors, RF scanners, and general warehouse equipment.Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship (now or in the future).
