Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN Physician)

We are seeking a dedicated Obstetrician/Gynecologist Physician for a 120-day assignment in California. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and involves comprehensive OBGYN services including Level I Basic Care duties. Providers will manage both clinic patients and 24-hour out-of-house call coverage in a collaborative practice setting.

Setting: Clinic and Call
Patient Volume: 16-22 patients per day
Staffing Mix: The practice includes three MDs, with one currently on medical leave
The nursing staff is highly experienced, functioning autonomously and assisting with order input, with many having been with the facility for 20-30 years
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive OBGYN services
Deliver Level I (Basic Care) OBGYN services
Maintain a low c-section rate, typically 12% or lower
Manage cases with a low vacuum rate
Address insulin drips, which are very rare
Offer 24-hour call coverage
Take on clinic responsibilities as part of the role
