Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with an expectation of 36 hours per week. One overnight call is required for Trauma call, if on a specialty team.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of trauma experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality care to patients in need of surgical intervention.
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.
Monitor patient vitals and assist in administering anesthesia.
Collaborate effectively with surgical teams during procedures.
Ensure proper sterilization of instruments and equipment.
Maintain accurate patient records during pre-operative and post-operative phases.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Must have at least 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.
CNOR certification preferred.
Experience with Level 1 trauma preferred, with knowledge in various specialties including Ortho, Neuro, and ENT.
