HR Generalist/Employee Relations/Payroll

HR CoordinatorThe Role at a Glance: As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will provide responsive and professional support to employees, managers, and Operations by helping ensure HR inquiries and transactions are handled accurately and efficiently. You will manage employee support requests through the Zendesk ticketing system, maintain employee data within SAP SuccessFactors, and partner with Segment HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and HR Centers of Excellence to provide a positive employee experience. This role supports day-to-day HR operations, onboarding activities, reporting, and HR programs while maintaining a strong focus on customer service, accuracy, and timely resolution.What You'll Be Doing:Respond to employee, manager, and Operations HR inquiries and assist with timely resolution.Manage Zendesk tickets and service requests in accordance with established service level expectations.Maintain accurate employee data, organizational structures, and position information in SAP SuccessFactors (FraME.Assist with employee onboarding activities and related HR transactions.Process unemployment claims and assist with related documentation.Assist with HR reporting, data validation, employee records, and other HR administrative activities.Follow established HR procedures and assist with maintaining process documentation and standard work instructions.Gather information for routine employee relations inquiries and escalate questions or concerns as appropriate.Assist employees and managers with payroll, timekeeping, and HR transactions by partnering with Payroll and Operations teams.Support HR programs, system updates, and enterprise-wide initiatives as assigned.Maintain accurate records and follow established company policies, procedures, and employment requirements.Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to provide timely and consistent support to employees and managers.What We're Looking For:Must-Haves:Working knowledge of HR processes, employee transactions, and HR systems.High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems, preferably SAP SuccessFactors.Ability to learn, follow, and communicate HR policies and procedures.Strong customer service orientation with a focus on providing a positive employee and manager experience.Ability to interact effectively with employees, managers, HR teams, and external partners at all levels.Nice-to-Haves:Previous experience in Human Resources or a related administrative or customer service role.Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or a similar HRIS systems.Familiarity with HR reporting, data validation, and HR process audits.Experience in the food service or hospitality industry.Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills.This position is based at Elior's Minneapolis, MN office or Houston, TX office – hybrid schedule.Minneapolis Office Location: 1515 Central Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55113Houston Office Location: 4920 Westway Park Blvd, Houston, TX 77041Compensation Range $55,000 on an annual basisOur Benefits:Medical (FT Employees)DentalVisionVoluntary UNUM offering for Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital IndemnityDiscount ProgramCommuter Benefits (Parking and Transit)EAP401kSick TimeHoliday Pay (9 paid holidays)Tuition Reimbursement (FT Employees)Paid Time OffAbout Elior North America: Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.
