Conflicts Attorney

The Conflicts Attorney role involves evaluating and resolving conflicts of interest for new business intake, matter openings, client updates, and lateral onboarding across multiple offices, including Miami, Denver, DC, Chicago, Irvine, San Francisco, New York, Tysons, and Baltimore. Responsibilities include conducting detailed conflicts analyses using internal and external databases, advising on risk and ethical issues, drafting waivers and disclosures, reviewing Outside Counsel Guidelines, and supporting matter opening workflows. The attorney will also educate staff on ethical obligations and conflict procedures.

Candidates must possess a J.D. from an accredited law school, be licensed in Florida, Colorado, DC, Illinois, California, New York, Virginia, or Massachusetts, and have at least three years of conflicts or professional responsibility experience in a mid- to large-sized law firm. Strong research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion. Preferred candidates will have a minimum of two years' private practice experience.

This position offers a salary range of $145,000 to $200,000 annually, depending on qualifications and location. The role requires participation in on-call rotations and responsiveness to after-hours conflict checks.
