Job Description

Bindery Operator – Folder/Cutter

We are seeking an experienced Bindery Operator to join a growing print production team. This role is mainly focused on folder and cutter operation within the finishing department.

Job Summary

Operate bindery equipment with a primary focus on folders and cutters

Support finishing production by completing jobs accurately, efficiently, and according to quality standards

Work in a fast-paced print production environment while maintaining strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

Set up and operate folder and cutter equipment

Read and follow job tickets, layouts, and production specifications

Perform cutting, folding, trimming, and other bindery finishing tasks

Make machine adjustments to ensure accuracy, quality, and production efficiency

Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and accuracy

Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and make adjustments as needed

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Work closely with production, pressroom, and finishing teams to meet deadlines

Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards

Requirements

Previous bindery experience required

Folder and cutter experience strongly preferred

Ability to read and understand job tickets and production specifications

Strong attention to detail and quality

Ability to troubleshoot and make machine adjustments

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed

Schedule

2nd shift

Monday through Friday

2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Compensation

Up to $32 per hour, depending on experience
