Logistics - Material Handler, 2nd shift (Temp to Perm)

Job Title: Material Handler (1st & 2nd Shift Available) Location: Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Shifts:

1. st Shift: 7:30AM-4PM
2. nd Shift: 4PM-12:30AM

17.00 - $19.50 / hour] (Plus shift differential for 2nd shift!)
Job Summary We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Material Handlers to join our growing team in Frankfort, KY. In this role, you will play a critical part in keeping our production and warehouse operations moving smoothly by loading, unloading, moving, and staging materials.
18 - $21 per hour
shift: Shipping and Receiving: Performing tasks related to the shipment and receipt of raw materials, supplies, and finished products. packaging, and processing outbound materials as scheduled.
Material Movement and Storage:
Providing physical movement of raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods to designated storage locations or manufacturing areas.
Operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (as per training).
Monitoring storage space capacity and communicating issues to the logistics group.

Inventory Control and Documentation:
Transacting inventory using the company's ERP system (Enterprise Resource Planning) for various orders (PO, STO, RMA).
Performing scheduled cycle count tasks and participating in inventory count activities to ensure accuracy.
Labeling and storing materials and finished goods according to their quality status (e.g., Quality Inspection, Unrestricted Use).

Quality and Compliance:
Executing material movements based on instructions from the Quality Control (QC) group.
Performing disposition of materials and finished goods according to instructions from Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and other quality processes.
Discarding expired materials while adhering to safety practices and complying with C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) requirements.
