Job Title Registered Radiation Therapist

Location Mansfield, Ohio

Job Description Summary Sign‑on bonus of $25,000 for external applicants and newly licensed internal applicants, with a one‑year work commitment. Previously employed applicants who have been gone from the organization more than 90 days may also be eligible.

Schedule Hours vary between 7:00 a‑m – 3:30 p‑m and 7:30 a‑m – 4:00 p‑m, Monday‑Friday. Day shift, 40 hours weekly (80 hours per pay period may require on‑call weekends and holidays on a rotating basis).

Responsibilities and Duties Administers radiation therapy treatments on a daily basis (35%).

Maintains daily records of treatment, inclusive of daily dosages, calculations, and other necessary treatment records (20%).

Performs simulations, acquires treatment parameters, patient contours, and dose calculations (5%).

Maintains patient schedules for in‑patients and out‑patients; communicates frequently with families and hospital personnel to coordinate schedules (10%).

Monitors patient condition and progress daily (10%).

Assists radiation oncologist in performance of brachytherapy procedures (5%).

Oversees and directs clinical activities of radiation therapy technology students; provides clinical insight to radiologic technology students, nursing students, etc. (5%).

Participates in department clinical QA activities, new patient conference, tumor board, and QRM (5%).

Minimum Qualifications Associate's Degree (required).

Registered with the ARRT.

Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.

Graduate of an approved radiation therapy technology training program.

BLS certification.

Driver's License.

Department & Shift Radiation Oncology; day shift; 40 hours weekly.
