Position Summary
As a Registered Nurse in our Ambulatory Surgery Center, you will play an essential role in guiding patients through every stage of their surgical experience. From pre-operative preparation to recovery, you'll work closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and fellow clinical staff to deliver safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care.

What You'll Do

Provide direct patient care during pre-operative, intra-operative, and recovery phases
Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and clinical teams to coordinate seamless patient care
Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery expectations, medications, and post-operative instructions
Deliver compassionate emotional support to patients and their loved ones
Ensure compliance with nursing standards, ASC policies, and regulatory requirements
Maintain a safe, clean, and patient-centered clinical environment
Follow infection prevention standards, medication safety protocols, and confidentiality requirements
Contribute to a positive team atmosphere focused on exceptional patient outcomes
What You Bring
ASN or BSN degree required
Current Registered Nurse license in the applicable state
Current BLS certification required
ACLS certification required (or ability to obtain within one year of employment)
Surgical or operating room experience preferred
Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
Passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
Physical Demands & Work Environment
This role requires standing for extended periods, lifting/moving patients or equipment, and working in a fast-paced surgical environment. Team members may occasionally be exposed to:

Bloodborne pathogens
Communicable diseases
Anesthesia gases/agents
Hazardous materials
Surgical equipment and sharps
