Construction Procurement Buyer

TRC Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading provider of customized data center solutions supporting enterprise and hyperscale customers worldwide to hire a Senior Procurement Specialist. This role will support the commercial execution of construction contracts for large-scale data center projects, working closely with Construction, Preconstruction, Legal, and Risk teams.

Develop contract structures, commercial terms, scope requirements, and financial frameworks.

Lead negotiations involving pricing, contract terms, and risk allocation.

Evaluate vendor proposals for scope gaps, pricing inconsistencies, and commercial risks.

Structure agreements with clearly defined inclusions, exclusions, payment terms, and cost drivers.

Partner with Construction and Preconstruction teams to ensure project requirements are accurately reflected in contracts.

Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and internal stakeholders to resolve contractual issues.

Manage contract approvals and execution processes.

Provide commercial guidance throughout vendor engagement and procurement activities.

8+ years of experience in construction procurement, commercial contracting, preconstruction, or related fields.

Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost structures, and risk management principles.

Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements.

Ability to collaborate with Legal, Risk, Construction, and Operations teams.

Experience supporting large-scale commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center construction projects.

Experience with Procore or similar construction management platforms.
